Code of Conduct and Discipline
The main objective is to help the students to build a strong and noble character as also professional competencies. The teacher-students are expected to follow all the rules and discipline of the college and as such strict adherence to the rules and discipline is essential and in the event of disobedience or any indisciplinary act the student shall be liable to be removed from the college.
- Classes are held from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Students must reach the classes at least 10 minutes before the time. When classes are over, they should dispense with discipline and decorum.
- Latecomers are not allowed to enter the class.
- Every student must greet the teachers on meeting them in the college premises for the first time every day.
- The college expects Teacher-Students to maintain a high standard of general behavior.
- They should be polite, friendly, and well-mannered inside and outside the college. They should be respectful to their teachers and be honest and truthful at all times.
- Personal neatness and cleanliness are essential. Teacher trainees must keep their classrooms clean and tidy.
- Work is worship; a certain decorum should be maintained in the classroom. They should have a deep respect and dedication to their work.
- The students must be in the college in time for the general prayer at the beginning of the college.
- The student should wear the uniform on prescribed days. A student in incorrect uniform will be seriously dealt with.
- They should keep silence during the general assembly and while moving to their respective classes.
- The student shall not cause any damage to the building and property of the college. If any damage is caused, they shall be liable to bear the repair/replacement charges and also pay a fine.
- The students are required to observe strict silence at stipulated times and places and maintain reasonable quietness at other times.
- No student can go out of the college without permission from the Principal/Teachers. If he/she does so, serious actions will be taken against him/her.
- Students are prohibited from bringing costly materials, gold ornaments, etc. No responsibility will be taken by the college authority for loss or damage of any such items.
- Negligence in studies, failure in doing daily routine work, assignments, writing internal and model examinations, irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience, and disrespect towards members of staff are serious offenses leading to expulsion from the college.
- Attendance at official functions such as Independence Day, Republic Day, College Day, etc., is compulsory.
- Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited on campus.
- Students' Identity Card and handbook are compulsory on all working days.
- The decision of the Principal shall be final and binding.
- Students shall not be found with folded-up trousers or unbuttoned shirts in the college and premises, except on occasions of manual labor.
- Students shall observe strict discipline while moving from one classroom to another and also during intervals. Crowding on the verandah and doorway, shouting, etc., will be treated as an act of indiscipline.
- Students are directed to utilize the library service to the maximum extent.
- No meeting or entertainment program shall be organized without the permission of the Principal.
- Students are warned not to participate in any agitation against the authority, nor should they engage in any activity hampering communal or religious harmony.
- Furniture should not be misplaced or dislocated.
- Students are forbidden from entering the laboratory without the consent of the lecturer in charge.
- No student shall appear for an interview or examination without the permission of the Principal.
- Visitors other than guardians are not entertained on campus.
- Trainees should cooperate to maintain a "Clean-Green-Plastic-Free Campus."
- Any office bearer of the college union, if found to be repeatedly violating the rules of conduct, will be removed from office.
- Study tours are a compulsory co-curricular activity. All students should participate in the same.
- All trainees should complete the teaching practice/internship program without taking any leave.
- Every trainee should submit a sufficient number of practicums and practicals within the time prescribed in the syllabus.
Awards & Prizes
With the purpose of encouraging the students in there academic activities, awards and prizes are given to students. Management committee awards and Alumni association awards for top scorers in the University Examination
Withdrawal Of Certificates
Transfer certificate will be issued only after receiving written application in prescribed format from the students and all his/her dues have been cleared. Two days notice is required for the issue of original certificates submitted in the college.
Dismissal
Irregular attendance, disobedience or defiance of authority, malpractice in tests/examinations, injuring the moral tone of the college is sufficient reasons for the dismissal of a student.
Amendment Of Rules
The Principal has every right to introduce, amend or change these rules and regulations in case of exigencies and in furtherance of the aims and objectives of the college, as and when required.
